From Berlin to Zagreb

My Dear Friend of Democracy,

The best way to become a friend of the European Union is to travel through it. Yesterday, I boarded the train at 6 a.m. in Berlin, Germany, and arrived 20 hours later in Zagreb, Croatia. I saw five countries and four capitals, but I did not have to show my passport a single time.

With only one change in Graz, Austria, it was a very relaxing trip to the Balkan Peninsula.
