My Dear Friend of Democracy,

Democracy needs debate and exchange, especially between people with different opinions.

Therefore, I have stayed with X.

What good would it do if all the leftists moved to Bluesky and all the rightists stayed with X? It would further promote the polarization of society. That’s what I thought. That's why I put up with a lot of Musk. "Only AfD can save Germany," the X owner has now posted.

For those who are not familiar with the political landscape in Germany, the AfD (Alternative für Deutschland > Alternative for Germany) is a party that is in large parts right-wing extremist and anti-democratic, pro-Putin and hate-mongering (if you want to dive deeper, I recommend this article).

How dare Elon Musk to write such a sentence! What a stupid confusion to think that such a party could save Germany. And anyway, saving from what?

And what a delusion to think staying on X would be a good idea!
