My Dear Friend of Democracy,
Trump has decreed that, from now on, the "Gulf of Mexico" must be called "Gulf of America" (the USA calls itself "America"). Google has already implemented the regulation (outside the USA, you can see both versions; I took the screenshot in Germany; in the USA, only the “Gulf of America” version can be seen).
Trump is paving the way for territorial claims. Words will be followed by actions. That is at least likely.
✊ The world must prepare itself for an America like no other. Aggressive. Unpredictable. Unscrupulous. We better start reacting to this reality today and make clear that we will not submit to a new world order in which only the law of the most powerful (and craziest) applies.

Today I read that an AP Reporter has been banned from a White House press conference because his agency still refers to the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of Mexico.
Trying to take control even of such minutiae and severely penalizing deviation is as much a sign of totalitarianism as is the requirement to bend the knee for the big lie, i.e. the lost election in 2020. Just read up on this topic in Hannah Ahrend's book on totalitarianism.
